Four of us made a pitstop at Grocery Bar for brunch before heading to the F1. Fantastic coffee, delicious well portioned all day Melbourne style brunch, and tasty locally brewed Victorian Apple Cider to finish it off. Grilled halloumi a must. View all feedback.
What Carolina Gleason doesn't like about Grocery Bar & Cafe:
The young lady serving was pleasant and the coffee was good. I had the porridge which was disappointing for the price. The place appeared to welcome the less fortunate, which was nice, though could have done without the dogs allowed inside. View all feedback.
I had the luck to stumble over this caffe when I was in st. kilda overnight. I love eating and lost the number of times I had eaten at breakfast, so I know what I'm talking about. the grocery bar served the...BEST great breakfast I've ever had! it was tasty, cooked to perfection and the plentiful serve certainly satisfied my pretty great appetit! the fact that I wrote this evaluation 8 months since the visit shows what a more permanent impression this establishment had on me! and to surpass it from the employees was also pleasant.
Highly recommend unassuming, colourful and friendly. Best coffee we had in Melbourne, relaxed and friendly staff and top breakfast choices the avo with feta and lemon was outstanding.

When I went in, I saw unclear tables and busy employees. they were short-handed and hurried, I ordered coffee and eat and then thought of dinge. the service was superior and my table was deleted when I sat down. my coffee was great and my jaffle was made with care. it was both delicious and cheap. this is the place to go first for coffee and eat. Nobody cares about her look, it's a place to eat, not to make a impression.
This was one of those days where a coffee was sought and there was no possibility that we could manage a bad one. the coffee was good, extremely good and strong.
