All of the indoor dinning rooms are closed. There is only a grill down by the beach and a pickup window at whiskers. The half empty store only has terrible pizza and brown water for coffee. Many of the buildings are using generators, due to mystery power outages. Rooms are falling apart. Hot tubs are closed. Roofs are falling apart. The lady at the welcome center is a very sad and angry at the world. She is also in denial about the dismal conditions of the resort facilities. Do NOT waste your hard earned money or time. Not even remotely close to what their website claims

We've been going the last few summers. Room was standard, no changes. Everything was in working order. But the hotel and beach club experienced an unexplained power outage and we lost a day using the beach club pool and facilities. At one point we lost water to our room, but it was restored later that day. No explanation. Staff are great and friendly and make the place a good environment.

Hawks nest condo was run down, terrible layout, not great. However, the Great Lakes condo was much nicer. 5 pm check in is a bit late compared to other places. Pools very crowded with a lot of kids in both pools and Parking can be challenging. A very nice resort with beautiful grounds but not sure it’s worth the nightly rate.

Wonderful location and environment for a vacation. We had a private rental they VRBO.
