While the cocktails are inventive and the service can be attentive, experiences with food quality and portion sizes vary significantly. Guests appreciate the welcoming staff and engaging activities like arcade games, but some diners found room for improvement in meal execution and consistency, particularly during busy times. Overall, while the venue stands out for its cocktails and enjoyable setting, those seeking a flawless dining experience may wish to explore other options in the area.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! huge portions and really great selection of vegan foods available.
I love the cocktails in here. Really inventive and tasty. The food is pretty delish too from what I've tried. Really good for a night out, very fancy, lively, special environment.
Good space and vegan items are clearly marked in the main menu (not separate as previous reviews suggest). Beetroot burger a little over crisp for knife and fork but decent taste and prompt service. Toilets down a few stairs resemble a student nightclub very cramped and old but functional. Expected discount on Monday but none was offered.
Absolutely gorgeous location in the heart of the West End fairy lights, good tunes, a great chilled out vibe and even a table tennis cage too! Vegan options are plentiful and delicious loads of seitan dishes on the menu and I loved my doner kebab. Very Scottish cocktails with interesting combos. Not the cheapest but well worth it. Could do with more vegan dessert options (only choice is a vegan cheeseboard). Brunch menu looks amazing with lots of sweet and savoury vegan choices will be back asap! The menu looked very promising as the reviews, but at the end the food did not fulfill my expectations. the parts were a little too small. the vegan katsu curry lacked sauce and rice, but it tasted fine. the vegan kebab was something too spicy and the sauce was overwhelming. the sticky toffee pudding was dry and simply not good enough. the biscoff brownie was very tasty. I think hillhead bookclub is a cool place to make drinks, but I will not recommend dinner here if you want a good time and good food. there was a dj and discoball so that it is not really peaceful and quiet.
