soooo.... buddys was by far the best burger place about a few years ago, recently though the quality has dropped, i used to go to buddys at least once a month but recently i've only been going once every few month as i have been...a couple of times and the food hasn't been up to scratch, last 2 times i've been it's been better though and the duke burger is by far the nicest burger i've ever had! What Scarlett Morris doesn't like about Buddy's Bbq Burgers:
for a place that is open on a Saturday evening until 23:00 clock, a tad at 21:55 clock disappoints with the door open to say that “we are sold out of everything” View all feedback.
I have been a loyal customer at Buddy's since the days of Skirving Street, and I am thrilled that the newly opened Diner is now closer to my house. The Western burger is my go-to, always served with perfectly seasoned fries. The poutine is also a must-try, some of the best I've ever had! The best comfort food in the South Side.
I went to Kumpel's on Saturday with my friend and had the special burger and spicy chicken wings - they were amazing! The food there is absolutely delicious.
I am tired of trying out different burger places in Glasgow - I have found my favorites and that's where I will be going from now on. However, I still have a review to write about my visit to Tribeca. Despite the fact that there are only so many ways to describe a burger, James vs Burger does it much better than I do. This will be one of my last reviews. Some food lovers had recommended Buddies in Shawlands to me, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant has an American diner theme in its decor, making it a great choice for a casual catch-up with friends in the southside.
So well, all were nice and have a quick service. I have tried many burgers (vegan or not) and everything is great. mac and cheese are some of the best at all. 10/10 would recommend.
Ordered here from Uber Eats recently. Seemed like a classic American BBQ place which is what I was in the mood for. Ordered crispy breaded chicken wings' then there was an option for a sauce add on. I chose spicy BBQ. Then ordered a burger.. Chose the sauce BBQ with no salad. When it arrived found the wings were in a foil bag and absolutely saturated in sauce which had conjealed on the way here not the crispy wings advertised. Also smelled like curry sauce? Couldn't eat them. Then on to the burger again saturated in mayonaise. I'd asked for BBQ as I'm allergic to mayo didn't specify anywhere on the order list that mayo came on the burger, I thought chosing bbq would mean that's what came on it. Pretty confusing! So couldn't eat either and wasn't offered a replacement or refund.
