Wee Oven - Glasgow

I visited this café with a friend, and I was impressed by the breakfast and lunch menu, although it was oddly lacking a drink list. I ordered the eggs Benedict and a cappuccino, while my friend opted for a black coffee and some cocoa. The eggs were cooked to perfection—the yolk was wonderfully runny, the spinach was nicely prepared, and the muffin was warm and lightly toasted. The hollandaise sauce was a standout; it had a rich yolk flavor without being overly buttery, unlike the jarred varieties you find in supermarkets. We spent three hours in the café, and there were no complaints whatsoever. The service was excellent.

The coffee and cakes are excellent as well. The café has a cozy atmosphere, and the friendly staff create a warm, welcoming vibe, making it feel like a neighborhood spot where everyone is familiar. The coffee is wonderful, and there are soft drinks available too. It's definitely worth a visit when you're nearby.
