Contribute FeedbackLocated in a convenient spot, this Indian restaurant offers an average dining experience, but with potential for improvement. Some diners have reported feeling underwhelmed by both the food and service, while others have praised the excellent service and flavorful dishes. The atmosphere seems to vary from visit to visit, with some feeling neglected by staff while others have been treated like VIPs. Despite mixed reviews, the general consensus is that the food is decent but not exceptional, with takeout being a viable alternative. The decor may need updating, but overall, Shimla Pinks offers a relaxed and welcoming environment for those seeking a satisfying meal.
I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The service was terrible and the food was not good at all. My meal was overcooked and almost burnt. I complained and had it replaced, but was charged for both meals. I only took a few bites out of the first meal. It was a disappointing experience and I won't be returning to this restaurant.
The restaurant, although claiming to be Indian, falls short. It was once a decent spot, but has since lost its charm. The food is mediocre, with potential for much improvement considering its prime location and modern ambiance.
The service at this restaurant was exceptional. Our experience made us feel like VIPs, despite using an online discount voucher. The quality of the food remained top-notch, with a delightful array of freshly prepared dishes available. Each dish was served hot and bursting with incredible flavors. The Chef clearly excelled in their craft! The entire evening was pleasant, unhurried, and certainly worth a repeat visit. My only critique is that I believe the decor could use an update, as the pink and black color scheme seems a bit outdated.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. I highly recommend going beyond the outdoor seating area to explore the extensive and diverse menu inside. However, I would advise against ordering the naan bread.
My experience at this restaurant was awful. I go by it every day and rarely see anyone eating there. I should have taken that as a sign, but I decided to give it a chance. Even though only two tables were occupied, it took a long time for them to bring out a mediocre curry. We had to ask the waitstaff for the bill and then again for them to take my card, as they were too busy chatting with each other. I won't be going back and I don't recommend others to go either.
