We celebrated and celebrated our wedding at the Old Stalla and it was a wonderful day in every detail! Oscar, the manager, was from the first meeting attentive to our needs and open to our thousand ideas and requests, trying on every occasion to meet us at the best. The place is bucolic, simple, authentic and well-kept and makes natural scenery at the various moments of the day. A great added value is the opportunity... View all feedback.
What balfrust doesn't like about Agriturismo La Vecchia Stalla:
We needed a restaurant to allow children (5 years and three years) to wander between one course and the other. Welcome with kindness and attention. Large hall (the old stable) with ceiling sometimes that creates a terrible echo, since there were some dozen boys celebrating I don't know that, the noise was unbearable. Asked to move outside the staff set up another table immediately and in a few minutes. classic menu,... View all feedback.
We stayed with friends at lunch. the location is very nice and well maintained, the menu is complete and very appetizing (fantastic roast mug with plums and potatoes in the oven), the service is well maintained and also very respectful of the anti-COVID rules. the owner quickly solved a small discomfort related to the booking, apologized with the incident with a lot of kindness and sympathy. recommended in a certain area (about 10 km away)
Very kind staff, place taken care of in detail and in the quality of food, offer a menu at 32 € including everything: mixed appetizer in 2 courses, first the meats and then a dish of appetizers,2 before which one is always a risotto and I must always say very good, a second and a dessert, all homemade and accompanied by excellent wine of Oltrepò. always go to ask the bis and never lose anything at the table. .. very well known for a Sunday in the country.
Location in the countryside near Navigli, between Pavia and Milan. Everything is tone, rustic...there are the tables, the glasses those of the grandmother's house, the kit at the necessary tight. The staff is kind and polite, the secret to good but functional. Even without the whole exhausted the chatter in the room turns out a little frivolous. The dishes lack a bit of the rustic around: pleasant the meats, a bit 'flat' instead the tastes a little bit ' scary of the appetizers. Risotto cooked to the tooth and to the wave although some of the broth of cooking circles still in the dish and a little too wise as well as pasta with mushrooms and roast perhaps for the use of broth with glutamate I can miss... or for excess salt... Dessert is a muffin, more suitable for breakfast than dinner at the restaurant. Good quality wines. The account for the context is, at the end, a little high.

Great location and green kept very well, owners and their staff full of courtesy and always ready to any request, you feel like at home. Experience to repeat with the whole family. They deserve 5 Stars. Sebastiano
