La Carreta Mexican - Gilmer

The restaurant serves delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is top-notch. Overall, I would give a rating of 5 for both the food and the service. We dined in during dinner, and it was a fantastic experience.

This was or favorite but have noticed the service going down hill for the last year. The last 4 times we have ate there our order was wrong and when it was brought to their attention they acted like it was a bother for them to correct it. One time I was served the wrong meal entirely and was told “it’s ok, go ahead and eat it. It’s the same price” I told them it wasn’t what I ordered and had them correct it. Service is past slow and approaching horrible. Very sad to see it going down hill fast.
