there are many, many possibilities for Mexican food near my house in mesa and I do not always go to nando. but if I’m in the mood for an experience or entertaining city guests, nando’s is my first choice. extensive menu, wonderfully prepared and immediately served by willing servers. salsa is great as the margaritas. we choose a seat in free when it is appropriate. only a great restaurant! What User doesn't like about Nando's Mexican Cafe:
the food quality has declined significantly, we loved the carne asada plate, I ordered it back to 7/8/22. was immediately appalled by the visible quality of the carne asada, it tasted watery and was clearly colder then the rice and lean on my plate. I guess it was precooked, taken out of the refrigerator and sent very quickly on the heart. they have remake it for me and the second time it was actually hot. still not... View all feedback.
Very pleasant dining experience. Very simple but delicious food. Comfortable seating and service dog friendly. Knowing employees who are super helpful and take care of what we are looking for to eat.
I love it here, there are food absolutely amazing. No matter what you get, it's very good. The only drawback was that I tried new Morgue-A-Rita there, a special drink for Halloween. I loved the drink, but one of the waiters came by and asked if I liked it and I answered yes, it's great and he reacted with really? I don't have too much tequila... good. He said no one likes it. He probably shouldn't do if Nando wants more guests. Anyway, except him. I had a delicious dinner.
Really good! We started eating b4, remembering pics lol. The best was the Fajita Philly, which was listed among burgers. It was delicious! And the fries were also crispy and delicious. The only thing was that bread was among all meats and vegetables, so it was soggy, but the taste was on the point. It also had a cheese sauce on the side, which tastes well with the frits, burgers and chips. There were two dips/salsas that came with chips, and the cloby salsa in the small carif/jack, was good, but the one that comes into the small plastic container tasted like pizza sauce, and it was not deceitful. The frozen margarita was disappointing because it was not strong, barely frozem, and it was diluted. My son ordered the steak taco, and the chicken nachos, and he enjoyed it. They weren't the best nachos ever, but pretty good after him. Grant, our waiter was really nice and attentive. We'd go back to see him. We would definitely go back for the burger shell, but not in the hurry to be honest. I want to explore other, hopefully more authentic Mexican restaurants.
We always wanted to eat here. It's always busy! We managed to go and we liked it. The nachos from the Happy Hour menu look really good. Try the next time. The lunch menu is very cheap, but we have a few minutes too late. The Sopa de albondigas. Better than any other place I tried. The Fajitas are okay. Our concern was how full this place is and they don't burst out of the tables.
Nando's is an excellent spot for huge portions and tasty Mexican food. If you try it, choose the chicken for burrito or tacos. Amazing flavor and always a great choice. Taco Tuesday is always packed for happy hour but great atmosphere so it's well worth the wait. $12 for 3 tacos with beans and rice. May as well be served on a garbage can lid because it's so huge. In addition, this place actually serves a real portion of guacamole.. pretty good too. Drinks are always great and good beer selection. Very consistent with quality of food and ya just can't leave hungry. I'm pretty sure we haven't ever left without take home food for leftovers. Get at it
