What Alicia F doesn't like about Joyride Taco House:
Not sure if we will try it again. Went for lunch yesterday to celebrate a birthday with friends and we immediately wished we went somewhere else! Food was not good, mushy and cold when it got to the table (middle of az summer so thats weird). Sat in a big table where there were at least 6 flies swarming our food the entire time, clean plates and cups had food on them. Server was nice but slow to refill drinks, forgot... View all feedback.
Great service, amazing food, awesome atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Amy was a great server.
Our waiter Andrew was excellent and took the time to interact with his customers. That trait is hard to find. Food was great. Street corn is so fresh and yummy. The restaurant was noisy but we found a corner that was a little easier to hear our table mates.
Tyler was an amazing server and made sure to check if we needed anything
Love it here. Great food and nice people. Tyler was super helpful and attentive!
We’re local and have been eating at Joyride for about 7 years now. Up until yesterday, I would have given 5 stars. We stopped by for lunch and it was a little busy but not bad (we’ve seen it way worse). Two main issues lack of staff, and drink prices have sky rocketed. The whole time we were there, the hostess seemed to be running all over the place and there were a bunch of new customers standing around waiting to be seated basically all the time. We get seated and notice there are maybe 2 girls serving all of the tables in the whole place. It takes us a while get our drink order in and then our food orders, but the drinks and food do come out pretty fast. We get through our meal and get the bill and see that the margaritas which used to be like $8 have jumped up to $14. And these aren’t big glasses they’re served in, the glasses are small and packed with ice (photo attached). Two margaritas each was $56 for the two of us. They’re tastey but that price is what I’d expect at the Waste Management Open or the Super Bowl, not at a little restaurant in Gilbert. Hopefully some changes happen in the next few weeks.
