What K W doesn't like about Chipotle Mexican Grill:
I'll make this straightforward: our family will never visit Chipotle again. Our order was incorrect (I requested a double barbacoa bowl, but instead received a bowl filled with sour cream, cheese, and tomatoes). I?m not one to blast a business on Social media, but your internal review/chat was as disappointing as my recent online order. After 20yrs of being a loyal customer I have to say the quality has steadily been declining. We ordered four bowls and each of them was less than half and were not made as ordered. I recently had a medical procedure done and don?t have the energy to go back to the restaurant and hand it back the manager. But I assure you, I will begin exploring other restaurants that serve similar meals.
I 've worked in the food industry the past 11 years and I 've never seen as much laziness in the industry as I did last night. My brother and I went here an hour and a half before we closed and there were about 12 people in front of us. The only work we saw being done the entire time we were there was someone stacking chairs, which was odd with so many people waiting. After about 8 minutes of seeing nobody on the prep line or cooking, two people came out from the back and walked around the line a little, giggling and talking to each other. No burritos were getting made. After a couple more minutes of nothingness, I went up to them and inquired, May I ask what the hold up is? The teenage guy working said he was waiting for beans and cheese. Indeed, one bean can was missing, but the cheese was nearly FULL. I pointed out that he had plenty of cheese, which he responded with we could use more . This made no sense. He could have been making other people 's burritos and getting the line moving, but he was just standing about. My brother and I took our business elsewhere. If I was the manager there, that would be unacceptable.
Came to this location on Wednesday October 26 at 1 PM. Was completely shocked at how I was treated by one of the employees. She was the first person working the bar doing the meat rice and beans. She was not wearing a name badge. She was extremely rude and hurtful. It was very busy so I?m sure she was overwhelmed but I tried to be nice to her right away and was immediately greeted with complete coldness and harshness. It was embarrassing. She rolled her eyes at me when I told her I had more than one bowl to order. She huffed her breath multiple times when I didn?t immediately tell her what kind of beans and rice for each bowl. I have never been treated like this. It made me want to cry honestly. I used to work as a manager at Starbucks so I understand having to work under pressure and feeling overwhelmed but it?s never a reason to be rude to customers especially when they?re nice to you. I want to add a note that this was not the register girl that had pink hair and it was also not the girl with longer dark hair that was working mobile orders and the second half of the bar. They were both nice and pleasant. They both almost seemed like they were overcompensating because they knew that the girl in the beginning was being rude. I do you plan to come back to this location just to get her name and update this review with her name.
I typically don?t leave reviews but here goes. This location needs help! They had barely any staff on and due to this about 20 people were waiting for their takeout orders. Another 15 people were waiting in line for dine in. My order was supposed to ready for pickup at 7:50pm. Here I wait still at 8:30pm. Unfortunately there is no refunds unless you go on a search somewhere on the chipotle website to get it. Since, I paid $72 for our family of 5 order here I stand frustrated. The girls were apologetic but this isn?t the first time Ive seen this happen at this location.
Went on a Thursday eve around 6:30pm Very busy about 19 people ahead of us the line did move fairly quick. Most of the employees did have a positive attitude but I think a couple of the employees let the business get the best of them not so happy. All in all not to bad of a visit.
