I really enjoyed the chicken shawarma wrap that I had. The chicken was flavorful, tender, and juicy. The pita was soft and yummy. The fries were fries, nothing special. They only have cans of soda not fountain drinks. The Greek salad was good. The pita burger (not pictured) was very tasty. The baklava was some of the most unique I've ever had. It was pistachio baklava. Definitely Yummy!!! I'm giving this 5 stars beca... View all feedback.
What Dave Meldrum doesn't like about Arizona Pita:
Chicken souvlaki was decent, but my kids gyros were poor. The tzatziki sauce was served on the side in a small cup... but it was very runny. The pita was hard broke if half while trying to eat. The 'fountain drink ' advertised on the menu is just a canned soda.Ive had much better in east Mesa. View all feedback.
This restaurant offers the best Mediterranean cuisine in the area. The portions are generous and the prices are affordable. The flavors are exceptional. The service is top-notch. This is a great place for a sit-down dinner. The average price per person ranges from $10 to $20. The food, service, and atmosphere all earn a perfect score of 5. Some recommended dishes include the Greek Fries, Chicken Shawarma Platter, Gyro Wrap, Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Gyro Platter, and Chicken Shawarma and Hummus Plate.
The "Gyro Wrap" at this restaurant is not authentic Greek or Mediterranean cuisine. It is served as a plate with an open-faced pita and gyro meat, with other ingredients on the side, making it impossible to actually wrap the pita. Overall, the food and service both received a rating of 2, while the atmosphere was rated a 3.
Great experience and great food. Amazing and heartwarming to see a family business working hard to make good food. The gyro was amazing and very clean, some of the best I have ever tasted. The chicken shawarma was very tasty. We enjoyed the gyro so much we ordered another one to split. The fries are out of this world good! Clean restaurant with plenty of seating too.
Not really much going on here. The food is fresh, but I felt it was missing that flavor burst I was hoping for. Portions were great, but the pita bread wasn 't. I would skip it all together next time, which would be hard since it 's a pita place
