Wir hatten einen Tisch auf einen Samstag Abend reserviert und saßen auf der Terrasse direkt am Wasser. Die Lage und das durch moderne Bestuhlung erwirkte Ambiente ist in Gießen unschlagbar. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und wirkt überaus seriös und kompetent. Das Essen ist etwas hochpreisiger im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants, jedoch ist der Preis völlig gerechtfertigt. What User doesn't like about Knossos Gasthaus:
The interior design of the restaurant aside, the service was terrible. My husband and I wanted to have a coffee and there weren't many patrons at the restaurant. Nobody greeted us at the entrance to show us to our table, we waited for 10 minutes for someone to even show their face. When we finally sat down, nobody came for 20 minutes to even take our order and so we got up and left. Won't be coming back. View all feedback.
Super atmosphere, very good operation and fantastic eating! even if we came after the kitchen, we were excellently served and there were no problems at all. very flexible and overall top service and eat!

Unlikely with most Greek restaurants which unfortunately offer gyros and mousaka Knossos is the best ambassador of Mediterranean high Niveau dishes. We were happy and delighted to have dinner there, the place is recognized from locals as the best restaurant in Giessen. Choose what ever you like from the Menü it’s fantastic.
Tasty fish restaurant, though I haven't tried any of the dishes that are especially Greek. It is a bit pricy, but the staff are friendly and the place itself is very comfortable.
