Nice restaurant right on the river, nice vibe and so relaxing with the sounds of the river while eating and relaxing. Food was delicious, cooked well and excellent sauces. Fully recommend this place View all feedback.
What Filipa Gaspar doesn't like about Adega Regional:
The place is very cute but the food salty, burnt in many sides. Veggies as side of the meat were not fresh but from cans, still feels the acid when eating. overall compared to all other restaurants in the area a very poor quality. Can eat way better and even cheaper with real Portuguese and fresh products in many restaurants around there. View all feedback.
Although nothing out of the ordinary, I enjoyed lunch here in the beautiful mountain town of Geres. All of our dishes were very good, even if 'typical '. The fish was nicely grilled, as was my pork belly.
Good for a nice lunch by the river. Was very quiet and pleasant when we were there. Food was good, especially the melon e jamon. Friendly service, reasonable prices.
We had lunch in a nice outside area. The prices in this restaurant are cheap, as usual for Portugal, but we were a bit disappointed when we had to pay for store bought olives (in Portugal a good restaurant will usually serve you homemade olives, especially in the North). The entree options were nicely varied and the menu was really interesting for someone looking to experience Portuguese food. Unfortunately, the cooking was not up to par when we visited: the fries were uncooked and the dish was drenched in oil. When I finished my meal, I discovered that the bottom of my white and blue plate was in fact blue and yellow. Maybe it was pure chance, but we left disappointed.
I Was around Geres with 10 friends and a dog and couldn't find anywhere that could accommodate all of us for dinner. Finally we have found this beautiful restaurant that made the impossible to fit all of us outside in the terrace area, yes we had to wait for about an hour but the restaurant was full, so no drama at all. Once we sat down staff was very polite and efficient, the food was superb. Definitely recommend. The restaurant is ver well situated and the decor is very nice. Will come back for sure.
This restaurant has a ementa turistca (tourist menu? , which is very good value (14 euro? . I have eaten here quite a few times now, and can say I enjoy their salmon. So you get starter (soup , drink (soft drink/wine...I think I managed beer , main course (select a couple of dishes from fish/meat , and pudding (I had coffee as already full , and maybe includes bread/olives on that menu . I have seen reviews complaining of a charge for bread and olives, isn't that normal in Portugal? Don't eat it=no charge. I've always had a good meal here, and will visit on any future visits
