The order was delivered quickly than expected. I really appreciate the service, and also the so-called pizza delivery guy delivered the order in a very pleasant way. The food was delicious. For both cases. I give all my points. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about New York Pizza:
Order ready after 15 minutes, and yet 45 minutes later delivered, and resto itself is 10 minutes away, delivery was by car and didn't come to the door. Dinner: Very good but cold by bad delivery. Too bad! View all feedback.
I was intrigued by the vegan pizza option at this restaurant, but was hesitant to try it at first as I am used to high-quality vegan pizza choices in Ghent that are hard to beat. However, when I saw an ad offering a free second pizza with the app download, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I had issues with the app not accepting the promo code, so I uninstalled it and tried ordering through their website instead. I then found a promotion for a €2 second pizza, which seemed like a good deal. Despite some confusion with the pricing, I opted for the largest size pizza. After some technical difficulties during the ordering process, I finally made my purchase and chose Bancontact as my payment method. To my surprise, I had to manually enter all my payment info and sign the transaction with a card reader from my bank, which was frustrating. However, the pizza itself was tasty, although I found the crust to be slightly oily and crispy instead of thick. The salty crust, vegan cheese, well-seasoned shawarma, and garlic sauce toppings were all enjoyable. Overall, while I liked the pizza flavors, the frustrating online ordering experience might make me think twice about ordering from this restaurant again in the future.
Tried the vegan Shawarma pizza. The toppings were good, but the sauce was too thick for my liking. I've had better vegan pizza before, but for the price, it was decent. I also enjoyed the New York-style crust.
I noticed that they offered vegan pizza, but I was hesitant to try it out because there are really good vegan pizza options in Ghent that are hard to compete with. However, when I saw an ad offering a free 2nd pizza if I downloaded their app, I decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately, the app had errors and the promo code didn't work. I uninstalled the app and tried again on their website, where I found a different promo for a 2nd pizza for €2, which was still a good deal. Despite some issues with ordering, I eventually received my pizza. The pizza was decent, although I wouldn't say it had a thick crust - it was more regular thickness but very crispy and oily. The salty taste of the crust, the vegan cheese, perfectly spiced shoarma, and garlic sauce on top were enjoyable. However, the payment process was inconvenient, as it required manually inputting details and using a card reader. Overall, the user experience was disappointing, especially coming from a multinational company. I may not choose to order online from them again.
Tried the vegan shoarma pizza and enjoyed the toppings, although the sauce was a bit too thick for my liking. I've had tastier vegan pizzas before, but considering the price, it was satisfactory. The New York crust was a pleasant surprise as well.
Nearly 90 minutes have to wait for delivery without warning and couldn't follow orders.
