Friends brought me to Piero's mother's lunch 5 years ago and it was love at the first bite. Best pasta house in Ashtabula county where every guest is inexpensive and fresh made for you with only the best ingredients. Overpriced for quality of food. $8 for two meatballs! Salad was poorly assembled with a handful of spring mix ONE cherry tomato and ONE olive! Bread and pasta sauce was “ok” but nothing exceptional. Love the open kitchen idea you can see what’s happening with your food. You can see Joe cooking and right hand chef, they aim to please service was great! Chicken Parm was delicious plenty of food to eat. Pistachio cake was delicious also. Will be back in the summer. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Edit 2024: Sadly this place is now just a cash grab since the new ownership took over. $23 for a an order of spaghetti and meatballs with broken noodles thats slightly more than half the size it used to be. I ordered a glass of water and they brought me a bottle of Dasani instead and charged me 1.50 with no explanation and no drinks or prices listed on the menu. The Alla Piero has been a family favorite since the 90s and is now flavorless. I imagine JP would be embarrassed. Prior 5 star review: So fricken good. Let's start with this, I do not like most italian food. Sweet red sauces and over cooked pasta made me think I hate all italian food until I tried JP's cooking at Pieros. Everything here tastes super fresh and is seasoned perfectly. The food is served on disposable plates and it gets warm in the summer, but that really just adds to the charm of the place. The only thing I would change is that I wish they took cards. I would be happy to pay a convenience fee if it meant I didn't have to make a trip to an ATM.

Ordered 3 dinners almost 75.00. Spaghetti was hard. Way hard. Sauce was chunk tomatoes and a watery liquid. We ordered all to go on the 18th of August.(horrible) Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
