What Carleton Kuphal doesn't like about SakuraTei Japanese Cuisine:
This is hard. Part of me want to give a lower star rating, because the Sashimi today was absolutely shocking. Take a look at the photo so you can see what we got served. It looks like a butcher cut it up. But part of me wants to give a higher rating as I have been here a few times in the past and generally it is pretty good. From memory I don't think I have had Sashimi here before, generally I get a rice dish cooked... View all feedback.
I think the photos speak for themselves. fresh and tasty eating. it was a great meal. highly recommended!
They should be hygienic with all the tables, chairs and kitchen (including personal uniform, gloves etc.) was the second time that my man and I went to the restaurant because I had no good experience with eating for the first time, but I thought they were 4 start maybe today is a bad day but nop at all. eating is not fresh, that should be, and the place needs a good one.
I don't want to be rude, but as soon as we got up and stepped in, we wanted to go back. for a 4.1 rated restaurant the decoration was really obsolete and the chairs and tables were old. one of the dishes we ordered was a mix-sashimi that only the salmon seemed a little fresh and edible. After 20 minutes eating our stomachs began to feel funny and we felt unusable. after leaving we felt bad all night. we have tried a lot of food from the sushi rolls, to the Udon noodles and beside dishes such as cheese and corn spring rolls and crabs and cream croquettes. these 2 dishes especially tasted really funky and strange, we were not sure if the cheese they added just didn't come with...read more
A restaurant without frills with delish food. we had the bentoboxes very generous in size, sushi rice and gyozas. 3 ppl we paid a total of $50. such good value
The servings at this restaurant were large and prices very cheap. We got 5 dishes and a drink for 3 people for only $60.20. We are very pleased with their friendly service. Wode selection of Japanese alcohol and beverages including many varieties of Sake, ramune soda and others. Miso soup and water was also complimentary. Worth every cent.
