with my daughter visited was a few times the eating is amazing, hot, fresh and much to choose the noodle and noodle dishes are beautiful and my daughter fav katsu curry vegan options great, the ice desserts,,, yummy, the staff were beautiful...and friendly to and even gave us free sushi to take home. be not back. rated this place 3 years ago awesome. now do not disturb, quality poor, service fee due due to kovid is automatic as they need to pay online and therefore here service is as bad as they obviously do not care how they have their money or tips. in the bag. waits for drinks. had to ask when they ask for more on their phones. miso soup unlimited, forget how they never ask u for refill. £74 for me and my 2 daughters worst... There is not enough staff and it is so slow I do feel bad for them but is not a nice service and it is quiet expensive al the time you have to wait and only, the place was empty as well and they messed up my order witch it was only 1 thing
I ordered the beef teriyaki and was disappointed to find that it was mostly fat and inedible. When I mentioned this to the waitress when requesting the bill, she explained that this is the way it is served and may not be to everyone's taste. We have dined at Yo Sushi before and never had this issue. Additionally, there were not many options on the conveyor belt, but there were plenty of dishes ready on the counter that were not placed on the belt, causing customers to have to ask for them. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Ordered online to collect at 2pm. Arrived at 2pm, advised a member of staff I had an order to collect, showed my order confirmation and provided my order number. This seemed to mean absolutely nothing and I was asked what I’d ordered. I was told it wasn’t ready yet but would be ready soon. While I was waiting a deliveroo driver also arrived to collect an order and was completely ignored for 20 minutes. Again, when he gave the order number it was met with a blank stare and he was asked what he’d ordered, despite him clearly having a deliveroo bag. After waiting for 30 minutes I asked for an update on the order and was asked again what I’d ordered. I was then told my order had never been received. Again I showed the confirmation and the order number. I was asked for a third time what I’d ordered. By this time my patience was wearing thin. I was then asked to look in the fridge where they have pre-prepared boxes to take-away and see if there was one the same as what I’d ordered, which there was. I was told to just take one of these… I certainly won’t be returning.
Went for lunch. Staff very polite and friendly but could be more available. Nice atmosphere. Menu, a lot going on then trying to find the same things on your phone to order was like mission impossible and frustrating. It was good to take things from the revolving belt but I wondered how fresh it all was. The food is ok but didn't come away feeling fully satisfied I'd had a good meal that filled my belly. Was concious of the cost and felt you have to spend a lot of money to have a satisfying meal. Doesn't compare well to other chain restaurants in that respect. Plus ordered food which came without the chips, landing after we finished our sushi. Mcdonalds fries are better tbh. Sadly disappointed. Lovely staff and atmosphere, concept could be better and less complicated, food ok quality but not enough and not value for money. I won't be returning. Thank you
Having previously been disappointed by both service and portion size at this Yo, I can honestly say this most recent visit has seen the return of the quality of food and service we are used to. Well prepared and presented sushi and hot dishes, brilliant staff and a pleasant atmosphere.
