This restaurant has the best grill in the city! The portions are huge and the food is always juicy and tender. I especially enjoy the smoked turkey and the brisket. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Smoke Pit:
My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time today. I always like to read reviews before trying a new place, and anyone who had negative things to say about this restaurant must give it another chance. We were seated promptly, our waitress was quick, and our food came out fast. Not to mention, the food was amazing and there was plenty of it. I would highly recommend this place! 110%! Overall, the service at this restaurant was excellent and our server was very friendly. The food was fantastic and all of the ingredients tasted fresh. I was so impressed with the sweet potato casserole that I am considering ordering a pan for Thanksgiving. However, I had to give a slightly lower rating of 4 out of 5 stars due to the bartender service. Frank, the bartender on duty, seemed unenthusiastic and forgetful. When my fiance ordered a Gummy Bear cocktail, Frank took forever to make it and then forgot to include the actual gummy bears. Additionally, he failed to inform our waitress that the drink was ready, causing unnecessary confusion. It may seem like a small thing, but on our 5th anniversary, we were hoping for a flawless experience. Despite this minor setback, I would still recommend trying the Texas Brisket and NC Pulled Pork dishes. The atmosphere was pleasant and the price per person ranged from $20 to $30.
