A classic spot to eat in Gastonia. Service is always great. Good food at fair prices. Truly a gathering spot for the people. Stop in and enjoy yourself it's been open forever and there's a reason for that. View all feedback.
What Heather Dunmoyer doesn't like about Firestone Grill:
Got lunch here and was disappointed. The potatoes were bland and the chicken tenders were dry and tough. I hadn’t eaten here in a long time but it was not as good this time. View all feedback.
Great place for breakfast. A little crowded, but we sat pretty quickly. They were out of biscuits and sausage links, but we did arrive late for breakfast. Service was outstanding, meals were served hot and quickly. Very satisfied with our meals.
Had to pay an extra 2.50 to get mayo on a BLT. Paid an extra 2.50 per cheeseburger to get toppings….i think that’s ridiculous. Food was good, waitress was nice.
The little buffet was good, fried chicken was so juicy, when I but into it, the juices shot out at my husband, lol. The mashed potatoes was really good. The meatloaf wasn't bad, the macaroni and cheese was pretty good. They had 2 items for dessert that wasn't on the bar, so either you asked foe what they were or the waitress told you about it. The staff was pleasant, and our waitress, T, was great! When we came down to visit my family, this is definitely the spot to swing by eat first.
Extremely undercooked grits and pancake. Wouldn't recommend.
