Great food and awesome patio to sit on. There is smoking on the patio, so beware if you don't want to smell smoke while eating. There were ceiling fans that helped with the smoke so it didn't bother us but others may be sensitive to the smoke. Other than that, the staff and food selection was excellent! View all feedback.
What Angelita Conroy doesn't like about Aversboro Restaurant Sports Bar:
Real nice spot. Food is better than you'd expect with a sports bar atmosphere. Live music was nice. Acoustics were quite decent actually and if you want to carry on a conversation when there's live music there's a nice bar in the back of the establishment as well as an outside patio. Staff was super friendly. View all feedback.
I honestly don't know what the others eat, but everything I ordered here was terrible. Nothing tastes like in the house. I had the reefs and it is only outdated superfluous deli meat, and once again I tried the boneless chicken wings and it is about the same as your frozen TGIF from the grocery store. I gave him another shot and ordered a cheeseburger and there had a stack of 4 slices of American cheese on it and a patty without color looked like it was baked in an oven. Service is always slow. This place is really bad, I have no idea why it's always so busy.
Good pizza. other foods are moderate and overpriced. but the waiting staff is great and the trivia type they have on Tuesday is worth the trip.
I want to love this place, but I can't. 40 minutes to get our Entree order. Another 40 minutes are waiting for food. Understand that they are understaffed, but we have been here for music for a year and I cannot understand the reviews of the good service. It's horrible every time. Such a shame.
I gave 3 stars because of the entertaining atmosphere, beautiful outdoor seating and fun events like Trivia. But the food-wow, far below average bar food and overpriced. $17 for 10 wings? Everything tastes like it was frozen and then laid under heat lamps. The spinach artichoke dip is quite rough (they add Cheddar cheese for some reason. Even the burgers are fine. Trivia on Tuesday is fun, but the service is rough. You only have one server on the staff for the whole place. Waiting for a beverage refill over an hour is normal. All that is said, I will continue to go back for the trivia and live music. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is fun, and the regulars are nice.
