Captain D's - Gardendale

Went in door was open noone inside. Glad i was not a robber. When i was walking out the manager was coming in i assume with her boyfriend she said they were getting a late start. Not too good for the owner of this store. This is friday 2/23/24 at 1045 am

Nice place! You order at the counter and they bring you the food. Hush puppies are good.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice big place with handicapped parking and a ramp outside

Came in for an interview, the lady at the cash register told me to sit down and they’d be right out for me, sat there for 30 minutes before ordering a milkshake, that turned into 1 whole hour. As i was there, the 2 cooks in the back kept looking at me and giggling, when i’d look at them, theyd turn away. Tried calling , kept getting hung up on. I dont recommend to eat here or try to even work here unless you wanna sit at a table for a whole hour and not be interviewed.

Chicken, fish , shrimp, and all the sides were delicious Also the tea was great. Love when I actually get to enjoy my tea from a restaurant. Pretty quick service. Will be back in future.

The lady at the counter barely looked up from her phone, did not smile once and tisked at me when I came back to the counter and interrupted her from her phone again for a few condiments. The bathrooms, both, were extremely dirty. Drink area was a mess. Note, we were the only customers at the time.
