Waterman Seafood Grill - Galveston

I visited this restaurant once a year for the last 4 or 5 years while enjoying a girl weekend in Galveston. Location is ideal for where I stay and I love it dedicated golf cart parking right at the entrance. The large outdoor deck is a great place to sit at the end of the day and watch the sunset over the water. I had never been when his work, as usually only the tables are occupied by the windows. I always think of his kind of weird that we are usually the last to go at 9:30. Service is friendly and food is delicious, but a little on the expensive side for what is produced.

Nice place. Great atmosphere, food, service. Crawfish étouffée was delicious. Brownie excellent. This is my new place when I visit the island.

UPDATE. Waterman recently reopened the fifth week of May 2012. I'm often in Galveston, and I prefer you to check this place. You have now opened Mon-Sun from 11 am to 11 pm. There is a sandbar downstairs that is very casual when you are on the boat and need a quick meal. the sandbar is what is open from 11 am to 4 pm. the finer food is open from 4pm-11pm on the level above. You build a brand new marina so you can put your boat to dinner. It is a very child-friendly recreation. on Friday Saturday there is a band playing all night in the sandbar. It lives very much, and the service is AMAZING. Look at it! PS try the shrimps kissing. You're a waterman's favorite.

Neat Place. This is a cool place that is a bit away from the tourist path. All we had here was great. My personal favorite is the Shrimp Kisses. Garlic Calamari was a big hit with the girlfriend. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it!

First time to dine at Waterman's and oh man we were not disappointed at all. Surf and Turf Platter was so delicious and the Seabass over risotto was just as good. Not only was food good our server Natalia was a gem. She provided us with excellent service. Definitely will be going back.
