Contribute FeedbackEstablished for years, this classic diner offers a good breakfast with reasonable prices and large portions. While understaffed, the service is friendly but somewhat slow due to the lack of personnel. The standout dish is the home fries, but other menu items like the steak and eggs are also delicious. Despite some shortcomings in customer service and cleanliness, this old-fashioned greasy spoon continues to attract customers looking for a satisfying meal. Make sure to visit during off-peak hours to avoid long wait times. Overall, a good choice for a hearty breakfast while on the road.
A long time established diners who stood the test of the times. Growing up in the area as a child for adults..., I am sad that I never died in this place. Going into it gives you the personal diner feeling, and adds more taste to the already delicious foods. The only problem I would talk about is a lack of personnel. On the day of my visit, there was only one waitress in service. But she was absolutely wonderful and showed no stress, with the place filled with cartridges. I ordered the “Special”, which was eggs, bacon, roasted potatoes, oash and toast. I added scrapping ad an additional page. Totally delicious, and it was so much food that I couldn't finish my dish. I look forward to tasting other dishes again.
Delicious breakfast in a classic 'big spoon ' type restaurant. Very reasonable prices and the food and the portions were very good. Service was friendly and a little slow (but everyone is now understated, so no punishment for it). No Muffins was my only complaint!
OMG. I am so excited to have found this place!!!! Small mother and pop style deli with a loaded menu. We have breakfast, and it was all soooo good. The pancakes especially!!! They're hired so they're underused. They sit themselves and wait for the server, but they are everywhere so that you wait longer than expected. We went on a Sunday morning, so it's probably better in the week. Everyone was pleasant. Parking is tricky, just a few spots in front and a small lot behind the building, plus parallel parking.
The food was very cheap. Many variety in the menu lots of food for the money. It was clean, even sanitary the pens for signing revenue. The service could have been better. Only 1 waitress really knew her stuff was trying to make the difference for the two young people who didn't have it so much together. Would you visit again! Philadelphia chicken, tuna melt, roasted shrimps, fries for all, Chili Clam Chowder; all good!
Edit: 6/22... Went back. Great food and service.. Sat am so busy !! Brought around refill for coffees both decaf and reg.... Had a ham cheese/western omelets (pics) came with toast and home fries total $25 for 2 w/coffee From 8 years ago ....Good food, fair price. Service is good. Staff looking at their phones and chatting with each other, they did take of customers, just did not get a warm fuzzy feeling . Will try another place. Overall not bad, not great.
