Fukuzushi - Furano

Simply the best uni don! I kept coming back for it every time when I’m in Furano.

Good sushi, but definitely not the best I ever tasted. Pay attention when ordering, their sushi has a lot of rice, so you might want to order small size at the beginning. The ambience is nice and they have bar, table or tatami seating.

They grouped all the foreigners in one room, which was a bit uncomfortable but I guess makes logistical sense. Aside from that, the food was tasty and the portions were generous. The sushi rice was well made, though the fish was nothing too spectacular. The fried chicken (karaage) was very tasty.

Had lunch and ordered tempura Don, egg& chicken Don and sushi. The servings are generally big portion but the quality of taste rather average. Price are high and mainly for spending tourists.

We waited more than 45 minutes for our food. When it’s not busy during early evening. Sushi is bad, not fresh and mushy. Rice size is super big. Overpriced, would not recommend this place.
