Gasthof Zum Schloß - Friedberg

Great food, nice people, great beer. They have a good little salad bar, unusual in Germany. Ate hear a year ago and came back because they do a really good job. Hop off the autobahn and stop there. Monday is schnitzel night!

We have been staying for years in the gasthof to the castle and always enthusiastic about eating there. there are genuine Bavarian-Swibian dishes, which are usually cooked by the chefin itself. especially also the carving variations are highly recommended. In addition, each main dish includes a supplemental salad, which can be put together on the large buffet itself.

Nice little restaurant with truly local flavor. Much less touristy than the big beer halls in Munich. It's not far off the Autobahn and easy to find with GPS. They have schnitzel specials on Monday nights that are well priced and excellent. Was there with a large group who ordered several different ones, and all of them were very good. Can't go wrong, just pick one. Also good deserts. Service was fast and friendly. They also had a small salad bar. Happy to write the first English language review!

When a main dish is delivered to the table only when the other has already eaten up to 80%, something is wrong. when eating, it would have been possible to warm the wobbles on the meat. raw on top, well, twice there, both of them have not voted.
