Marie Callender's Bakery - Fresno

The selection of dishes on the menu was wonderful, and the service was great. I just wish they hadn't painted everything in white years ago and had taken out all the beautiful glass paintings they had. It destroyed the inside! Now the inside is just blazing. But the food and service is great!

I'll pass this restaurant every Sunday for a year. I've always wondered if it's open, but I never see cars in the parking lot. Last Sunday I decided to see if the door was open and it was! There were 2 or 3 pairs. We asked if they still have their salad bar, no, asked for a diet coke, they were outside, went before and ordered coffee and a breakfast, and a Swiss burger and pommes with Coke Zero. The waitress came back to refill once. Eggs were boiled, burgers were boiled. I understand why the parking lot is always empty. Very bad presentation of food, service, cleanliness too. We had an excellent time last night for dinner with my son's family. The service was great, and the food was delicious. What else could you ask? Very nice. We recommend Marie Callender's Fresno.

I enjoy a Marie Callender's restaurant. Since we don't have one here and we happened to be in Fresno for a Dr appt, decided to have lunch there. Good comfort food. I had half a sandwich and a cup of soup. Very tasty and filling. My husband had half a meat loaf sandwich and half a salad which he liked. Light and filling lunch. Friendly staff, good service.
