A really great quiet restaurant, we drove home from Italy and still had a few hours ahead of us, so we came to this beautiful, rustic restaurant with an insider tip and a big hunger because of the reviews we found by chance. It's a bit remote from the autobahn, but just right. The reception was very warm and extremely friendly. We were taken care of immediately. As the pictures already show, there is not much to say about our two plates. We had the Wirths Schnitzel and a Cordon Bleu (both turkey) I myself come from a former Lower Bavarian inn (grandparents) and here I have to admit that this meal was more than brilliant, it almost sent me back to my childhood. The portion was just right, a bit too much for people who aren't too hungry. The food was served very fresh and piping hot. Our mouths were watering just looking at it. In Fresy we stayed with a family of four to rest before continuing our journey to the Czech Republic. We were a bit hungry so we decided to check out a local restaurant which had a 4.8 rating. After arriving at the restaurant on the main square in the town, there was a party something like Oktoberfest. Lots of people celebrating drinking beer. We entered the restaurant timidly. We didn't speak German so we asked to speak in English. Hannes arrived immediately and was very kind and welcoming. We ordered crepes with Nuttela for the kids and a turkey schnitzel with fries delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant. I'd give more than 5 stars if it were possible.
