Gino's Cafe & Trattoria - Fremantle

Fabulous , just what we needed a lovely brunch each morning during our recent 2 night stay in Fremantle .Big generous portions and very tasty , can understand why every time we went past it was busy. Lovely staff and a really nice atmosphere thank you

I’ve been coming to Gino’s on and off for 20 years, whenever I am in Perth (I live overseas). Unfortunately I won’t return as it’s worse than ever. Rude cashiers who are hideous to everyone, including the elderly and with the exception of (very) young women who get slipped unwanted phone numbers. Please take a good look at your staff and give them a good overhaul. They really spoil the reputation and experience of this long standing family icon.

The food was good, reasonably priced and in a great location for people watching. But why does the cashier need to be so surly. Surely a smile of a pleasant word costs nothing.

On the one hand, we could sit in peace and quiet watching the people go by slowly sipping our drinks without feeling any need to rush. And the lemon granita was just right for a hot summer day. On the other hand, the server was deeply disinterested and the cakes/biscuits were less than inspiring. A mixed outcome.

1st time in Freo , Ist stop for Breakfast. Popular busy , good vibe. Great bacon egg croissant w coffee. Good start to the day. Would return.
