Happened to be driving by and this was such a great find.I was only disappointed they were out of the Gator/Crawfish sausage I really wanted to try
Country good! If you love, great taste in food and a country atmosphere this place has it all. Second time here. Innovative menu if you can believe it. Fantastic food. Barbecue collard greens, black-eyed pea fried jalapeños,
Loved it. If you are from the deep south of 40-50 yrs ago, this place will bring back memories of those little mom and pop cafes that used to dot the south. Building is definitely nothing fancy, but a person can't eat atmosphere, can they? The food is delicious. Good down-home cookin'. The personable, friendly folks who work there and who chat with a stranger as if they've known you all your life just adds to the deliciousness of the food. If you're a nit-picker, don't go; this is probably not the place for you. If you just want some good, solid home-cookin', give it a try. This is where the locals go; the line was almost out the door and the parking lot was full.
Garrett helped me yesterday. It was my 1st time I missed the BBQ I was looking forward to. Got there too late. But the meatloaf, mashed potatoes gravy were delicious. I will be back to try the BBQ.

A hole in the wall cafe where the locals were lined up to eat. Exactly the type of place we love. We travel thru about once a year. Will be our go to place from now on. Had shrimp, green beans, cheese grits, hush puppies home cookin '.
