Good selection of vegan options (noodles, vegetarian section on the menu, tofu, dumplings made with Impossible meat) that are clearly marked along with a knowledgeable and flexible staff. The chow mein noodles weren't marked as vegan but they have no problem preparing them to order (making sure to omit egg and oyster or fish sauce). Update in 2021: they have a nice patio/outdoor seating section that opens at 3:00 PM! View all feedback.

The personal was friendly and good about the vegan modifications. we ordered the Moo-Schu-Veggies without egg and those with the thick rice noodles. both were good
Good choice of vegan options (noodles, vegetarian section on the menu, tofu, noodles with impossible meat,) which are clearly marked, along with a competent and flexible staff. the chow my noodles were not labeled as vegan, but they have no problem to order them (make sure to dispense with egg and oyster or fish sauce.) update in 2021: they have a beautiful terrace/outer seat group that opens at 15:00!
We ordered the dumplings with impossibility to start meat. for our main dishes we ordered veggie fried rice, veggie hofun and tofu with vegetables. that was great and we will be happy to eat there again when in freeland. the service was friendly and helpful. the restaurant has comfortable cabins and clean spacious toilets.
Very good eating with a vegan section on the menu, with many options. family owned and operated. dedicated staff. I am a regular parade and often take guests.
Vegan options on Whidbey Island are far and few in between. China City was a great find. They had many vegan menu items as well as knowledgeable staff that were happy to convert other entrees into vegan delights. Would absolutely go back.
