What SherG doesn't like about Brio Italian Grille Freehold:
I feel that the servers could benefit from better training. We didn't receive bread until after our meal, and I had to request it. Additionally, no one offered us the grated cheese; I had to ask for that as well. The server seemed unfamiliar with the menu and promotions, and I ended up having to explain the usual offerings myself. Brio is our family favorite and it lives up to our expectations every time. Their bruschetta and spinach artichoke dip are must-haves for us. Their pastas are delicious and the warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was a hit. Our server Taylor was knowledgeable and friendly and checked up on us throughout the dinner. Really the best.
Server was very good and timely but the dishes coming from the kitchen took a long time . Saw a lot of kitchen help so did not appear to be a short staff.
Good meal overall. Our server Maria was friendly and efficient. My husband ordered a side wedge salad and lasagna which he described as fine. I ordered the salmon salad which was very good however was served minus the asparagus. It was corrected in a reasonable amount of time so no complaints there. After the fact, I realized we were overcharged for the side salad. I called the next day and was assured the manager would call me back that day (I provided all the check and table information). When I had no response within a week I sent an email to corporate customer service. No response from them either. This is why customers stop patronizing restaurants. Something that was not a big issue has become one because of the lack of response. Shame on them.
The food was great, our server was fantastic. The children's diners were a great value priced right. We had a wonderful evening. Thank you
