Jacob Lake Inn - Fredonia

On our second day, we returned for breakfast, and the servers were fantastic! I didn't catch their names, but the ladies working in the bar area on July 20 were incredibly sweet. The service truly went above and beyond for their customers. For our meals, we opted for the breakfast burrito and various breakfast items, and we were equally pleased. The hot coffee was excellent, and the food was delicious. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the North Rim. The staff does an amazing job—keep up the great work!

The food here is fantastic! I tried the mushroom Swiss burger and absolutely loved it! We couldn't resist finishing off with the famous cookies. The staff was very friendly, and Dinah was an exceptional waitress—so pleasant to chat with! Nearby, there are wonderful trails to explore, making for a great experience overall. Also, the hotel offers stunning views!

This was hands down the best stay we've had, even exceeding one that was previously our favorite. Everything was fantastic! The service was exceptional, with everyone being so friendly, and the rooms were wonderful. The only minor issue was that the walls were a bit thin, but the air conditioning unit quickly solved that problem. The space was fabulous, and we will definitely return. Greetings from Texas!

I decided to give the place another chance for dinner, but it was even worse. We waited 20 minutes for our dinner after ordering, and when I asked for more drinks and to check on our salads, they still hadn't arrived. Instead, our main dishes were served, and we were told the salads would take a few more minutes. By then, I didn’t want the salad anymore, as I had already started eating my main course. The server explained that the only person who could prepare salads was busy. It was just ridiculous! I wouldn't recommend wasting your time here.

The service was terrible; I had to chase down the server for a coffee refill. When I requested well-scrambled eggs, Jolyn responded with a sarcastic tone, saying, "Well, I'll ask them!" Breakfast was overpriced, but at least it was cooked as I requested. Service: 1 Location: 3.
