I highly recommend trying the burrito jumbo at this restaurant, it is huge and can easily provide two meals. The chips and salsa are amazing and the shrimp quesadillas were also a hit at my table. This place is a hidden gem in a remote location, which is coming from someone who grew up in a similar setting. The service, dining experience, and atmosphere all received top ratings. The price per person ranges from $10 t... View all feedback.
What Catherine P doesn't like about El Puerto Mexican:

Great Mexican food in fredonia Kansas Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Excellent chips and salsa! Chicken fajitas were good. Some of the other food with ground beef somewhat bland. Service was good, but substitutions were not allowed. Overall, would recommend for good Mexican food in the Fredonia area.
We stopped at this restaurant on our way to Branson and had lunch. It was a pleasant surprise! The chips and cheese sauce were fantastic and we couldn't get enough. The chips were crispy and the sauce had a hint of spice. I ordered the poblano relleno, which was delicious. My husband got the Pollo Loco platter and he loved the flavorful chicken and generous portion size. We wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!
The food at this restaurant is amazing and the margaritas are top-notch. The dishes are served promptly, but be prepared to wait for your bill. If you don't ask for it in advance, you may find yourself struggling to remember what you ordered at the cashier on your way out.
