Diplomat Restaurant - Fredericton

Restaurant was in walking distance from where we were staying for the night (Delta, Fredericton). They offer AYCE orà la carte menu. We opted for theà la carte menu and chose the 2 can dine. Be prepared for all the food because it was a lot and it tasted good. There was still room for dessert, and we got an oreo cheesecake.

Large portions and very fresh. I had the smoked meat on rye with fries. It came with a side of coleslaw. Everything was delicious and the sandwich had enough sauce on it to drip down my chin perfect! The waitress was attentive but not pushy, and offered a take away container without me asking. I'd eat here again!

Great service. There is a wide variety of choices on the menu the whole family is sure to find something they like. The food is good and the prices are reasonable.

Worst buffet ever!Passed through here in 2016 and was the best we ever had. Finally, after the pandemic, we were able to come here again tonight, on our way to PEI. NEVER AGAIN.This was the worst buffet we have had to date. Egg rolls tasted like box, Cantonese chicken tasted of raw flour and the Singapore noodles tasted like Lipton Chicken Noodles and Sauce; and those were the highlights.Much fewer items and the cost, essentially $32 per person, is no where near what it should be.Don't bother coming here.

I wasn't hungry enough to warrant a full buffet, so I opted for a combination plate. The Chinese food was okay, not the best I have ever had, but good. I didn't really like the ribs, so I wouldn't order them again. Nice selection of white wine, but not a great red wine list. Service was fantastic and our server was really friendly and helpful.
