I've visited this restaurant twice so far—once for trivia night and the other time just for a quick bite to eat. Both times, I experienced amazing service and delicious food! What Sabra R doesn't like about Gourmeltz:
Sounded good but chicken and waffles could have been crispier, think it sat too long before they brought it out. Barbecue sauce on my husband's burger was slightly off and sweet potato tots were greasy and soggy. Outside patio was in parking lot next to busy street. Not so sure I would recommend, was nothing out of the ordinary. View all feedback.
First time at Gourmeltz we will definitely be back! Family owned everything was so fresh! Had the beef brisket and the buffalo chicken sandwiches both were outstanding! They have VA brewed ciders that were really great too. Highly recommend!
So delicious!! The new and best spot in Fredericksburg and I consider myself a Foodie! The wings were great and the Turkey avocado melt even better. I even let my son sucker me into a piece of banana cake and it was superb. Great atmosphere and to top it off, its owned by a wounded worrier/vet. Almost didn't want to write a review so I could keep it myself!!
Super nice staff. Very clean restaurant. Totally reasonable prices. But the food is hands down worth the 40 minute drive it takes me to get there!!!! It's my new favorite place!!!
The wings, and the chicken waffle melt were outstanding. I will definitely go back. I recommend trying Gourmeltz you will not be disappointed.
First visit today and it was awesome. I actually was shocked. I figured fast food. But I was so wrong. Food was amazing but fast. Service was fantastic. I had the American bbq and my boyfriend had the Brisket bomb. Soooooo good. Can wait to go again.
