Many people recommended this restaurant when I asked for suggestions on the best whiskey bars in Fredericksburg. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the selection of whiskey. I ordered a smokey old fashioned and my husband got a flight. The person who appeared to be the distiller or owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. View all feedback.

I can 't tell you how the product was because the service was non existent (at the wine bar). We sat at the cocktail bar not knowing there was a difference. The bartender at the cocktail bar directed us to the wine bar. We sat at the wine bar for 10 minutes with no acknowledgment. I'd give him 5 stars if you could have a drink. If you wait 30 minutes or more just to place an order, it is another waiting for them to actually make the drink. I owe no one, it's just so busy! Maybe you hire more staff or wait staff to cover the separate seating area? If you go, just wait to wait a LONG time for a mixed drink. I don't recommend the two drinks we had in the photos.
Nice place to get out of Main Street and enjoy a cocktail and take a lot of tension. The vibe is on point, we are friendly and knowledgeable and they have a clean bathroom to boot!
I used to like this place. But left there in tears last night. The bartender was very rude to me and made me feel embarrassed and humiliated.
Stopped in this cozy place to have a drink and visit with our friends. The ambiance was peaceful and the vibe was nice. Comfortable living room like setting and calm atmosphere was really perfect after some lively and loud wineries and restaurants we had been to. We wanted a place that has a good variety of drinks for our whole party- not just wine for the girls. We enjoyed the flights, wine and cocktails. The service was excellent and the owner took time to be sure we felt welcome and he also gave us some great tips on must dos of the area. We had a really wonderful experience and appreciated the time and attention of the staff. We 've been to Fredericksburg several times and I 'd say this is now our favorite watering hole. We will be back for sure!
For a quite upscale break from shopping on Main St. stop in and have wine or spirits. You can purchase a cigar if you are in the mood. Delicious smoked old fashion!
