The staff is very friendly and has been supportive for years. The food is consistently excellent, although the chicken can be a bit dry on rare occasions. However, the highlight is definitely the incredible cake—it’s the best in the world! I always order a large quantity for special occasions and holidays. The woman who makes it is truly talented; her cakes are absolute perfection! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Higuey Cafe:
11/26/19 MY CO WORKER FOUND HAIR IN HER FOOD !!!!!! I had ordered a yaora of Chicken and fries, They made it cheap, had so many bones hardly anything in there. I aslo asked for extra and i got less then what i expected. This was not a well done yaora.. Never in my life have i had a simple yaora made so horrible till today. And ontop they charged me extra when i asked for extra and got so little.

Very decent place. Specially love the Sancocho. They also have Shrimp empanadas. Highly recommended!
The staff is friendly. Been supporting them for years. Food is always on point. Sometimes the chicken is dry but very rarely. They have the beat tres leches cake in the WORLD! I always order a lot for special occasions and holidays, the lady that makes it is truly blessed, it is perfection.
The staff is friendly and the food was delicious! Especially the mangú! Will be back again.
