Speisekammer - Frankfurt

Nice german restaurant (even though I though many of the options for starter were just too common place: mozza/tomate salad, snails, carpaccio... However, main course options made me very happy, very difficult to pick from so many tempting dishes. I went for a Schnitzel with...mushroom sauce which was absolutely delightful and waw, what a generous portion! Our waiter was very kind, a very nice all-round experience!

Spontaneous visit in the pantry, not disappointed. came all morning over the sign and drove the little one around! that is worth it! girolle season, combined with veal schnitzel winning combination. super friendly service staff, we will definitely be back. large garden outside.

We were at a cousin and we decided to try this restaurant because my man is German. Once we got in, we felt in a German restaurant. wonderful food, great service and great place. comes back when I visit oakland again.

Had an early Chrisrmas dinner with a business partner. There was a goose menu that evening, with all the traditional trimmings. I am always impressed at Speisekammer that they elevate traditonal German classics to such a high niveau, in both the preperation and service. The...selection of wine, and the assistance of the staff to harmonize it perfectly with the menu is an added plus. A must for anyone looking for a homey, yet refined, evening in the Frankfurt area.
