Champions - The American Sports Bar & Restaurant

Went with family and we got the sample bowl. It was disappointing. The burgers were meh, the pulled chicken ok as were the fries. The wings were not to my taste. The service was the only good thing.

Went there with family and we tried the sampler. And it has to be said nothing had any real flavor. All kinda blend. The best thing about this place was the service.

I arrived at 8.50pm and ordered a Chilli Cheese burger and fries with a beer. There was a great atmosphere and the interior was fantastic for an 'American ' style sports bar. The beer arrived very quick and efficient. I was advised 15 minutes later that the burger would take a long time, however it arrived a minute later. The fries were at most warm and the burger slightly warmer. I told the waiter the fries were cold and they were replaced within a minute piping hot, I reckon a quick zap in a microwave did the job which was okay. The Burger was over cooked beyond belief and not a nice texture. I was hungry and finished it off. I know I should have ordered a medium burger but a well done burger should still be fresh and moist not like a warm piece of carpet and chewy. The restaurant is located in The Marriott so there should be no excuses for such poor quality. The restaurant was busy but not full. I complained to the waiter at the end and she was very apologetic, its still not good enough though.

Excellent bar, very like sports bars in the US. The staff were also all fantastic, even though it was packed when we visited. Our food and drinks were lovely too. I’d highly recommend a visit here and would actually choose to stay at this hotel (it’s situated within a Marriott) based on this experience the next time we are in Frankfurt.

The restaurant is located inside the Marriott hotel. It is in American sports bar style with a combination of sitting booths, tables and standing tables. They have a very large table soccer game in the back. The menu is burgers, salads, chicken wings, fries etc. they have good mixed platters to share.
