Great service to foreigners/tourists! The main waiter (male) speaks perfect English so luckily was able to help us gets very busy and noisy, but good vibe! They accept card payment amazing food, loved the pork knuckle dish, very traditional, hope to visit again. I only wish they had more sauce in the pork dish, I ran out Alcohol and soft drinks price is very expensive though. View all feedback.
What Elena Ernst doesn't like about Struwwelpeter:
We enjoyed the atmosphere and the scenery in Sachsenhausen. The menu is great an typical Frankfurt style. The Grüne Soße was made with mayonnaise what is completely different from what you can expect in Frankfurt and the pork steak was rare inside. So the food...was disappointing View all feedback.
A great German restaurant with huge portion sizes, friendly and fun staff and extremely quiche service. Do not expect anything beautiful, but come here for a BS done to German cuisine for great prices
Not big but great pub with many local dishes. Awesome are different versions of schnitzels like with Green Sauce, with paprikasauce, mushroom sauce and many others. Beer is also very good. They can even be alcohol-free. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a local specialty, go there.
Real Frankfurt location where you can go more with a few people. Good food from Germany and Frankfurt specialities at the fair price. They went to third food and a court gave nothing because we had a snare block. [here link]
Thursday evening. Food fair and Not special at All. Waiting ok. Probably also sitting on the wrong part outside so little atmosphere. Next time option klaane Sachsenhäuser
We went there with a group of this week for some german food. I had the Handkaes with Musik as a starter which was nice. I ordered the Schlachtplatte with Bratkartoffeln as the main and I was really disappointed. The mini pork knuckle that...came with it was not grilled, the fat outside was totally wobbly and I had to remove everything and ended up with only eating a bit of it. The Bratkartoffeln were rather whole little potatoes grilled in a pan, which is not what you think of Bratkartoffeln in Frankfurt. Next time I stick to the restaurants outside the tourist areas
