Grill-Haus - Frankfurt am Main

Good steak, good service.just perfect. I had there the best Suvlaki I had ever had. I recommend it, just try and you will see it is delicious.

I had the soup of the house, and it was definitely one of the best I have tried. I also had the apple wine, but it was terrible. I order one glass to try, but they gave me the biggest glass on the menu without asking, which I left on the table.

One thing that was very clear to me on my first trip to Germany is that the food is heavier than we are used to and often contain a variety of sauces with which we are unfamiliar. We definitely had that experience and at one point I was ready for a plane barbecue steak. We crossed the river to suction housing and found this wonderful alley with a variety of restaurants We could've chosen one of many restaurants, but as we approached the restaurant row we were greeted by the owner of Grill Haus. As with most of the restaurants on this beautiful day there are outdoor eating areas. I truly love this. It's an experience we don't have very often in the US, but with all outdoor areas, you run the risk of it being in the range of someone who may be smoking. One thing you can always count on in Europe someone WILL be smoking! The owner, Amil, must have recognized this was a concern to me and kept other patrons away if they happens to be smokers. I thought this truly was service beyond expectation! Amil was very proud of his charcoaled barbecue steaks, so that's what I ordered. While the steak was much thinner than what we are used to with a US, it was very flavorful and exactly what I wanted. The cost of the meal was very reasonable and I just liked the entire dining experience in this area. I would not hesitate to recommend this unique area, and the Grill Haus, for a great dining experience.

Ich war zum Geburtstag einer Freundin eingeladen. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend verbracht. Die Location war gemütlich, tolle, nicht zu laute Musik. Die Mix-Vorspeise mit hausgemachtem Pitabrot war sehr gut. Auch der vegetarische Gemüseauflauf war sehr lecker. Insgesamt eine gelungene Geburtstagsfeier!
