The Anderson - Fortrose

Amazing little find, we traveled up to Inverness to start the famous NC500. Tonight we had dinner here as was staying locally. Food, drinks, service all amazing. Very welcoming all round, including the rug for our dog to chill out on and the treats. If you are in the area you’d be mad to miss it! Amazing American themed food, thanks again

This place is a health hazard, and should be closed. The whole place is filthy, with weeds growing out of the gutters, we were astonished it is open to the public.

Very characteristic and welcoming pub, sincerely in this place I did not expect such a beautiful place, with great variety of beer and whisky and a great kitchen. Very kind staff, very nice cook, what to want more!

We stayed overnight with our Dog, this place is fantastic have lived in NW Scotland for 12 years the only thing I really miss is a proper pub! The Anderson is fantastic, quirky and fun. If your looking for a sole less , modern hotel where everything is grey shinny stay away however if you are looking for an individual stay with character and atmosphere then this place is for you. Food was so delicious esp the American Crack pie, the whole place is super dog friendly, from a rug to chill on while we had dinner and do much attention treats from staff Mist was very spoilt. Room was compact but had every we needed and was super clean and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly knowledgeable and fun and the beer cider was to die for . All in all I can’t wait to return.

This restaurant is truly amazing. The owner is a legend and the staff are fantastic. The bar staff are very knowledgeable about whiskey, with over 250 options to choose from. The food is delicious and they even have live traditional Scottish music. If you're staying nearby, you absolutely must visit this bar. Don't miss out on trying their amazing drinks, hickory smoked ribs, and having a chat with the friendly staff. If you don't take advantage of this place, you need to look in the mirror and wake yourself up.
