My Cafe Breakfast Lunch - Fort Worth

The waitress was nice and knowledgeable, BUT the food was not very good. My pancake was so tough that I could hardly cut it up, and it was cold. It couldn't even melt the butter. Everything else was just okay. It's not worth fighting the traffic to eat there. IHop is definitely a better choice for breakfast. I would have sent the food back, but the waitress never came back to check on us. Well, she did when she brought the check over.

Went for breakfast for the first time, can’t speak to the food because after we were seated and greeted pleasantly we watched our server in training in the open kitchen 5 feet away…with his finger in his mouth, picking his back teeth…he then wiped his finger on his pants and immediately came to take our order. I had to address it as this is not sanitary obviously and watched to see what he would do…after he took our order he just kept on working. I then told the waitress who was standing with him at the time and I assume training him while he picked his teeth and she apologized, said she didn’t see him do this and not to worry that she just sent him on break ??? I informed her that he’s not on break, he’s passing out plates right behind us. The restaurant space is a small square, you can see the entrance, all tables and kitchen at the same time. Told them to cancel our order and left. We always want to support small businesses, mom and pop places especially. I hope they address this immediately so it doesn’t cost them more business. We’re human, you’re going to rub your eyes and scratch your ear but wash your hands. Hands in your mouth and then carry on? In a restaurant? Hell no.

I was super excited about this place, unfortunately I was slightly disappointed.I tried the corned beef hash and it wasn't great, some bites were ok but other bites were super salty so I didn't return itThe other items ordered at the table were good so I am willing to give it another try

I've had the same kind of experience the past two times I've been here. Last time and this time, the whole group got their food before me, and last time I had to wait about 20 minutes before my food got to the table. Both times, by the time everyone in the group got their food, my food was just being put in. However, the one time I did come with a smaller group, it was quicker. I would not suggest this place for larger groups. The wait time is fine, but it's just not a good look when my family is finishing their food and mine still isn't in front of me. To end on a good note, I think it's the manager, he likes to bring out little mickey mouse pancakes to the little kids and it's really sweet.

Great place to eat, clean, friendly staff, good prices, breakfast was delicious! Definitely going back for lunch next time.
