Absolutely fantastic Mexican cuisine! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely! I ordered enchiladas, and they were incredibly tasty! I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu... View all feedback.
What Juana P doesn't like about La Playa Maya:
I suffered from food poisoning after ordering the fish at this restaurant. My review was removed, but I feel it's important to share my experience. The fish was either undercooked or the scallops and shrimp were not fresh. I strongly advise against ordering the fish here. View all feedback.
One of our favorite places, good food, many menu items, always great service. We enjoy the Camp Bowie location, less than 30 minute or less wait on a busy Friday night.
Great Service, Atmosphere and food was very good. Would recommend to any one and will go back. Cinammon ice cream, was the best!
Great experience at La Playa Maya on Sunset Drive in Fort Worth enjoyed a wide selection of Mexican food from traditional dishes to more contemporary options in a comfortable and cozy atmosphere! Food: As soon as we were seated, we were given chips and salsa. My sister ordered their queso concoction (I wish I had a better term for it) and it was alright. The dishes were where the flavors shined. I ordered their fish tacos crispy breading and delicious sauce, but a little too much red cabbage. My sister ordered their fajitas the fajita meat was tender and flavorful. My wife ordered the cowboy enchiladas definitely a lot of queso, but who’s complaining. And our boys split a chicken quesadilla. To top it off, we ordered their flan for desert. Overall, great food! Service: Our server was kind and checked on us frequently. She gave the suggestion for the fish tacos over the carne asada that I was debating over, and I’m glad she made the suggestion. Every one was friendly and made the experience that much better!
Today was the first time in a long time that we visited the restaurant, it’s been overdue. The food was delicious the chicken chimichangas are delicious and so was the carne asada. The piña colada with rum were amazing
We travel around the country, and it is always a challenge to find actually good Mexican food. While this place isn't one of the best that we've been to, it is far from the worst. The food was tasty, not overly spicy, and overall pretty good. It is definitely one of the better ones that we have found in this area.
