I'm always looking for new restaurants and I'm glad I found this one. I was a little apprehensive because it says it's a seafood joint on google. I'm not a fan of seafood but checked out their online menu and gave it a shot. I'm glad I dined inside insteadof just doing a pick up like I usually do. The atmosphere was awesome! I loved how they have the dining room set up to look likea fishing shanty and the bar set up to look like a hunting cabin. (At least, that's the way it looked to me. It was a realinviting, cozy little restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the food was wonderful. I will definitely be back!!
A unique maritime atmosphere awaits with a sense of humor to boot. A boat oar named Either caught my attention soon after being seated. Menu choices are abundant and are equally humorous and delicious. We mixed it up with landlubber choices ofchicken and pork, but the seafood and veggies choices look enticing. I do recommend the Moose side salad which was a sweet andsour mix of spinach greens and mandarin oranges topped with candied pecans and a balsamic vinaigrette. We will definitely beback!
This is one of my favorite places to go, because of the feel inside. Nice little booths and fairly quite place with a full menu of options. No romantic, but cozy. The staff is always fun and extremely helpful. The is a full bar and few specialty beers. Thefood is the downer... everything we have had has just been okay, nothing to recommend. Last night was cheese sticks to start. The cheese sticks were cooked but not melted on the inside, just warm, not gooey as you would expect a cheese stick to be. Thenblackened mahi tacos for entree 1 and flatbread pizza for entree 2. The fish tacos were very slim, on the fish side, very longand thin filets. They were blackened but lacking any real flavor, I would have traded out the mahi filets for frozen Gordon'sfish sticks. The side dish was sweet potato fries, there fries, so pretty standard. The flatbread pizza was next. Plenty oftoppings but still lacking anything special. No pop in the sauce and the toppings were just toppings. The flatbread had nothingto set it apart from others. The outside crust was golden brown and crispy, that was all cut away and eaten. The bottom of thepizza was limp and chewy, but not doughy. I truly like this place and will go back, we are just to the point of appetizers goingforward, as those seem to be the best bet at this time.
Stopped by for lunch and had a great beef brisket sandwich recommended by the bartender. Awesome choice. Highly recommend for lunch stop and can't wait to try their famous crab cakes next time!
