We came in with a fairly large party without reservations and were able to be seated right away. The servers were all very nice-fast quick service. They were also patient while waiting to take our orders. The food was solid. They also let you pick which lobster you want, before cooking it up. View all feedback.
What Minseon doesn't like about Lobster King:
Parking: There is a parking lot behind the restaurant (not much) The inside of the restaurant is large and the food is overall good. Depending on the menu you order... some are delicious and some are not. -Jjajangmyeon: It’s really not that good. It doesn't have any flavor and it's very bland because they use cabbage instead of onion. -Shrimp soup: Delicious. The shrimp were the right size, fried and delicious, and t... View all feedback.
OMG…my food NEVER came. My husband was done eating his dinner. Our waitress met motioning to us that my food is coming soon, but it NEVER did. Even when we asked for our check, our waitress still oblivious. She didn’t realize the food NEVER came. Really? Worse than terrible service.
Among other things one that was irrating was our dinner dishes were very small, very difficult to eat with no room to put the many foods that were served...
The staff is not professional. They didn't give me spoons when I asked for them. I had special lobster, but it wasn't that good... It was hard to eat and the taste wasn't that great. Duck fried rice. A taste that Koreans will hate. Strong Chinese spice taste.
The food was ok but the service was the worse, we felt so discriminated. After they sat us down we were ignored until i got up to ask for help. We would have left but we were very hungry and wanted to give a chance to correct the mistake. After our order was taken they kept ignoring us, i had to get up and ask someone for the food we still needed and even then they took a very long time to come back, they werent even busy. Horrible horrible service
We're visiting Honolulu for the first time and staying in Waikiki, which we got bored and annoyed with in the first couple days. I deliberately went looking for Peking duck and or lobster, and found this place. And oh man, it did not disappoint!!! Possibly one of the best ducks I've ever had. You can order the lobster sauteed, stir fried or deep fried we went deep fried and it was light and airy and tenderly cooked to perfection. I'm a bit of a Peking duck freak ...I just had a pretty disappointing one last month at a very expensive place in Vegas that claims to specialize in it and charges twice as much... but never in my wildest dreams did I think I could find a place that would do both these things together in one meal to blissful perfection. I'd put the lobster on par with Newport Seafood in LA. We ate some pretty elevated and expensive fusion food for several nights in Waikiki but this was the best meal we had in Hawaii, and knocked it out of the park on the lobster and duck. Really great service, too.
