This is a fantastic spot for a date night. The food is amazing, and the drinks are affordable. I highly recommend the El Pastor Tacos and the Fish Tacos (I can't recall the Spanish name, but the fish tacos are a must-try)! View all feedback.
What Taylor Worthington doesn't like about El Charro:
Wasn 't expecting much based on the reviews. The food was bland. The table salsa tasted like tomato paste with no real spice to it, so I had to ask for their spicy salsa to add to it which didn 't do much either. View all feedback.
Just left El Charro, Fort Scott. The service was HORRIBLE! The food wasn 't bad but I can get ok food at a restaurant that has helpful friendly wait staff. We won 't be going back again.
This is my all time fave Mexican restaurant, anywhere highly recommend!

Very friendly and comfortable Mexican restaurant. The menu has a very good selection of items and the prices are reasonable. I've tried several different dishes and they have all been good with generous portions. The staff is quite friendly and knowledgeable about the menu selections. Plenty of free parking with handicap accessible parking, entrances and restrooms.
Tuesday 8:00pm Not busy at all freaking fabulous food the best I've had in a while, chips were soft and crunchy, not stale or anything like that they were a legitimate Mexican style dipping chip really delicious. Waitress did an amazing job, she didn't bother us but she did check up on us as needed. That was nice. The food came out very quickly. Over all amazing.
