We had an excellent experience at the restaurant! The coconut shrimp, crab cakes, and oysters were fantastic. Ron, the manager, and Veronica did a wonderful job. We highly recommend Meyers! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pinchers:
I ordered the crab cakes that are advertised as having “a ton of crab meat”. All I could find is filling and a few small pieces of crab. Green beans were good. View all feedback.
Get all the plates....yum fresh fish and huge fried garnel. there was a lot of pages available (they have two with their food,) but they were a bit on the repulsive side, and certainly prepoured in plastic cups. but do not let them stop coming here, because the main courses are wonderful.

Just came in on a whim as we are new to area. Seated near bar and Daphne served us. She was fabulous. Had oysters- a little small- and snow crab. Everything great and will return soon
My partner and I went to Pinchers for dinner because of two things: their two-for-one drinks and their clam strips. We ordered a couple of sangrias and were very pleased. Unfortunately, they were out of clam strips. Instead, my partner ordered sautéed scallops and I ordered fried shrimp. The shrimp and fries were not as hot as I expected; they must have sat for a bit before the waitress brought them. Otherwise, both were perfectly satisfactory, but we've had better at other restaurants on the island for only a little more money. The serving sizes were good we felt full after eating but not stuffed. No room for dessert. Despite the fact that the restaurant was busy, our overall service (except for the warm, not hot shrimp) was very good.
We arrived at 1pm and were seated immediately. Ultimately 2 5 hours later we were leaving feeling disappointed unappreciated as customers. Our waitress arrived and took our drink and appetizer order within 5 minutes of being seated. Wonderful start. Drinks arrived about 20 minutes later. (Why After about 30 minutes, another server attempted to serve us the wrong appetizer! Another 15-20 minutes later our waitress finally returned to take our order (this was a full 40 minutes after being seated). It was not very busy inside or outside. We did received our appetizer after placing our meal order. Ww think our waitress messed up putting in the order. We were a party of six adults. Our first 3 entrees arrived about 30 minutes after ordering. We waited to begin and our family said go ahead and eat and don't let our food get cold. About 5 minutes passed and we waved down our waitress to see where the other three entrees were. Two more entrees were served in about 5 more minutes. We were missing one order of tacos. The first three of us were almost finished eating! The waitress took additional drink orders. The missing order of seafood tacos was brought to the attention of our waitress. She returned with a male cook or manager who apologized for the food delay. I asked about the scallops my husband got late while his father got his in the first serve of entrees (all on the same check) and she said I had to split the order What the heck does that mean? We all expected more timely, accurate service and were thoroughly disappointed in our service. Our drinks arrived after almost everyone had finished their meals. Then the waitress had the audacity to ask for our dessert order! It was over 2 hours since we'd been seated. They did not offer to comp. the late tacos or the delayed scallops from our order or to offer any other type of credit to compensate us for a totally dismal service. The food was excellent, but the service caused much embarrassment and anxiety that it literally ruined our experience.
