Just as good if not better than Rutts Hut. Onion rings are also fantastic. Highly recommend Hiram's dogs. However, the cheese dog was just a regular hot dog with a slice of cheese under it. No cheese sauce or anything. Just keep that in mind View all feedback.

It is what it is, a NEW JERSEY hot dog shack, everyone has a favorite, this is an excellent choice, but make the rounds, find your favorite
Delicious as always... Just like I remember it just like I wanted it to be... One of the best hot dogs out there.
We 're not here for froufrou , just tasty food and cold beverages... and they deliver on that! The staff is alert, attentive and friendly. And, the deep fried hotdogs are awesome! I like them with raw onions, mustard ketchup. Add sauerkraut at no extra charge.
I live near another iconic hot dog spot called Hot Dog Johnny's in Belvidere, Warren County (I’m from Hackettstown), and while Johnny's is excellent in its own right, it can't compare to Hiram's. I still need to try the two legendary places in Clifton, Rhutt’s Hutt and the Hot Grill, as well as the birthplace of the "Italian" dog, Jimmy Buff’s, but I doubt any of them will be able to dethrone Hiram’s from the top of my hot dog hierarchy.
